2. Purpose of the App

The BusBooking Driver App is used by drivers to:

  • Verify trips by entering a Trip ID

  • Start and stop live location sharing during active trips

 

3. Data we collect

  • Trip ID: Used only to verify assigned trips

  • Location Data (GPS): Collected only when the driver starts sharing and stops when the driver ends sharing or the trip ends

  • Device Information: Device model, OS version, app version (for diagnostics and stability)

 

4. How we use data

  • Verify trips and associate them with the correct driver

  • Provide live location updates to operations staff and, if applicable, passengers

  • Ensure safety, security, and operational efficiency

  • Diagnose and fix technical issues

 

5. Data sharing

  • We do not sell or share data with third parties for advertising or marketing

  • Data is shared only with Busbooking ApS operations staff to support trip management

  • Data may be disclosed to authorities if required by law

 

6. Data retention

  • Location data is kept only while the trip is active

  • Once the driver stops location sharing, collection ends

  • Minimal diagnostic logs may be kept temporarily to improve app stability

We apply industry-standard safeguards, including encryption and access controls, to protect user data. No system is completely secure, but we continuously improve security measures.

 

8. Children’s privacy

This app is designed for professional drivers only. It is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

 

9. User control

  • Drivers can start or stop location sharing at any time

  • Location is never collected automatically without driver action
