Back in 1921. When the world was rebuilding itself after the First World War, the roots were laid for Haarby turist, which today is a recognized bus company that drives around the Danish and European country roads. Haarby tourist was started by Chr. Jensen in Haarby on Sydfyn, which then started under the name Haarby lillebil.
Back then there wasn't much business in the local town. So when Chr. Jensen's son, Hans Chr. Jensen, became part of the company as a driving instructor, the Haarby minivan could now function as both a driving school for larger vehicles and a tourist bus.
Hans takes over the company and turns it into a company that drives with schoolchildren at the same time as a driving school.
In 1979, Hans' son, Kurt Hestehave Jensen, takes over the company. After that, the development of the company took off. They get a large fleet of vehicles to cover the growing needs of the Danish population. Today, they have many full-time and part-time employees, so they can handle exactly the journey you need, regardless of whether it is domestic or international.
