The collaboration with DitoBus began at the beginning of the year 2022, and already from the very beginning it has proved to be a success, which to that extent benefits the users of the platform.

A company with more than 70 years of experience in the industry

DitoBus is one of the companies that can be called "the grand old man" in the industry. The first seeds for the company were planted more than 70 years ago in 1950, when the two founders Gerda and Poul Verner Hansen Boers founded the company that would become DitoBus.

The name "Dito" only came about 12 years later, when the company was named DI-TO's Turistfart due to a new partnership. The hub thus remained for a number of years until the year 2021, when the name we really know saw the light of day. The company was renamed DitoBus, and it has been that way ever since.

Since its inception in 1950, the company has grown significantly, and today DitoBus has its headquarters in Holbæk and covers the whole country with their +400 buses, which run everything from route services and school trips to bachelor parties and company trips.

Three independent companies, each with their own focus area.

Over time, DitoBus has grown to be one of the largest on the market, which means that they operate all types of bus services. In order to maintain focus and specialize in individual bus journeys, their structure is divided as follows.

The top company is called Ditobus Gruppen A/S, which owns DitoBus Excursions A/S, DitoBus Linjetrafik A/S and DitoBus Servicetrafik A/S, each of which has a specialized setup for areas within the bus industry itself.

DitoBus Excursions A/S is here for longer trips around Denmark and trips abroad, whether they are ski trips or other excursions. This also means that it is generally a larger number of passengers who have to be transported back and forth. The customer types are everything from tour operators, the public sector, associations, companies, but also private individuals. The bus types in Exursions are double deckers, tourist buses, VIP buses and larger lift buses.

DitoBus Servicetrafik A/S is the company in which all service driving takes place, which takes place under both private and public auspices. At DitoBus, they have a large fleet of minibuses in different sizes and interiors that suit the tasks to be solved here.

The tasks within this company can be school transport, children with special needs, the elderly and the like. Their size and specialization make them incredibly flexible and not least able to take on many different tasks.

DitoBus Linjetrafik A/S runs for large transport companies owned by municipalities and regions, which are the ones that provide all collective bus traffic in Denmark. These could be the buses you see stopping at bus stops or at various railway station sites.

DitoBus is one of the largest bus companies in Denmark, but that does not mean that they only run trips abroad or large gatherings.

At DitoBus, they have a lot of minibuses, which means that they are also a popular choice for smaller trips such as hen parties, family trips, trips for the elderly etc. Having said that, they also run trips for some of Denmark's largest companies, the public sector, institutions and trips abroad for several hundred people.
